Product Overview

This 900L stainless steel powder tank is designed for medium-batch storage and turnover of powdered, granular, and micro-powdered solid materials in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, health product, and fine chemical industries. The 900L capacity balances production flexibility with single-batch processing capacity, making it suitable for workshops with multiple product switching needs, as well as for use as an intermediate buffer or finished product storage tank in the production line. Made of high-quality 304/316L stainless steel, the smooth, corner-free inner wall, combined with an optimized conical structure and sealing system, effectively prevents powder bridging, wall adhesion, and cross-contamination, meeting GMP and food-grade hygiene standards.

Nominal capacity: 900 liters (900L), suitable for medium-sized batch production, material feeding at batching stations, and temporary storage of finished products.

Material options: 304 or 316L stainless steel, resistant to corrosion from various powders (containing salt, acid, and alkali components), ensuring material purity.

Surface treatment: internal and external mirror polishing or sandblasting, roughness Ra≤0.4μm (customizable), easy to clean, no material residue.

Structural design

Tank type: Vertical cylindrical body + large-angle conical bottom (cone angle ≥60°~70°), ensuring smooth gravity flow of powder.

Top configuration: Quick-opening manhole/feed cover, optional dustproof and breathable filter, breather valve, sight glass, vacuum or pressure gauge interface.

Discharge device: Equipped with a butterfly valve, ball valve, or rotary feeder valve at the bottom, it can be connected to flexible couplings, screw conveyors, or packaging machines.

Anti-bridging design: Optional features include an air disc arch breaker, a vibratory motor, a bottom agitator, or a low-friction coating on the inner wall.

Auxiliary options: Weighing module (for batch measurement), rotary paddle/tuning fork level gauge, CIP cleaning ball, casters or stationary legs.

Sealing and Protection: Silicone/fluororubber sealing rings, dustproof, moisture-proof, and leak-proof, supporting normal pressure, slight negative pressure, or inert gas protection.

Typical applications

Food processing: 900L capacity can hold approximately 450~700kg of powder (depending on bulk density), suitable for the transfer and mixing of flour, rice flour, premixed powder, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking improvers, and other materials.

Pharmaceutical production: intermediate buffer or temporary storage of fine powders of Chinese medicinal herbs, granulated and dried granules, raw material powders, and excipient powders.

Chemicals and New Materials: Batch storage of plastic masterbatches, rubber additive powders, pigment powders, fillers (calcium carbonate, talc), additives, etc.

Health products and feed: Small-scale formulation systems for vitamin premixes, mineral powders, plant extract powders, and feed additives.
